PekoPeko is all about bringing you the best Japanese food directly to your door. Our name literally translates to “very hungry,” and we have the answer to satisfy your appetite.
Our company began as part of a virtual happy hour our founders created, after seeing closures to many businesses during the onslaught of COVID-19. We all had been working in the Japanese food supply industry, and wondered if we would have to find completely new careers. Our virtual happy hours started happening more regularly, and during one fateful evening, one of founders had an epiphany.
More and more people were starting to make their food purchases online. No more running down to the local grocer to pick up a few things. Suddenly, we realized we could be part of the solution. All of us had extensive experience in the Japanese food supply chain. In fact, we had over 100 years of experience combined.
With the pedigree and a vast network to help, we knew we had to bring popular Japanese food to the world. We wanted to provide a service where people can access quality food at a reasonable price.
